The Coronavirus Community Support Fund distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund has helped us to set up a new project called Advocacy at Home.
Thanks for the government for making all this possible.
We will help stop the isolation that Coronavirus has bought to many older people in care homes.
We will support older people in care homes to:
- Have their voices heard
- Be listened to
- Be treated with dignity and respect
- Have someone who speaks up for them
- Free, independent, user led support.
We offer regular telephone/video contact so people can discuss what is important to them.
A care home is a home and older people have the right not to feel alone.
